After degree in Biochemistry from Trinity College and PhD and Post Doc studies at University of Dundee, Vincent went on to work for Merck in Japan before returning to academia. He is now a Professor at Trinity College Dublin and the Director of the National Transgenics Facility. A prolific publishing academic, Vincent is an acknowledged international expert in the queuine pathway.
